Revlon Run/Walk Team

Our Revlon Run/Walk Team #221 site is up and ready for all to join. Since 2002 we have been walking (and some running) so we can raise money to help find a cure for women’s cancers. Team PIHRA has raised over $87,500.00. This is a 5K event held the day before Mother’s Day. This year, Saturday, May 8, 2010.

We start out by meeting in the famous Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum and take to the streets for our walk and then back into the Coliseum through the tunnel to the finish line to pick up our medals. It’s a great way to give back to our community, honor you mother, aunt, grandmother, friend or colleague. This year we have a team goal to raise $16,000.00 and each participant is asked to raise at least $100 on their page.

You don’t have to be a PIHRA member to join our team and you can make it a family affair. Last year we had several families with kids in strollers to teens with their IPOD’s plugged in.
As a returning team, The Entertainment Industry Foundation is offering a special registration promotion. Those that sign up now can register for $25 instead of the regular $30 fee. This is for a limited time and you would need to use promotion code: 047253. Please consider joining us today by either walking, running or offering a donation to either our team or an individual team member.

Visit the PIHRA team page or the Los Angeles Run/ Walk page. To search for a team look for PIHRA and our number is 221 or contact Lynn Gleim by email: lgleim@earthlnik.net.

Thank you for your support!

Team Captains,

Lynn Gleim – District 4
