News from PIHRA – PIHRA Bylaws Revision Project

News from PIHRA – PIHRA Bylaws Revision Project

PIHRA has formed a committee to review and draft proposed amendments to the PIHRA bylaws. As part of this process, we would like to hear from the PIHRA membership. The bylaws govern how PIHRA is run, and they should reflect the views of the current membership. If you have any changes, deletions, or additions you believe should be made to the bylaws, please let us know. We will take all submissions into consideration as we draft the proposed amendments.

You may find a copy of the bylaws on the PIHRA website at this link: www.pihra.org/bylaws.

During the PIHRA® Conference and Exposition, we will have a suggestion box at the PIHRA Legislative Affairs Committee booth in the PIHRA® Exposition. Please stop by and drop any suggestions you may have about the bylaws revision project into the suggestion box or send an email to bylaws@pihra.org.

Any proposed revisions to the PIHRA bylaws will be submitted to the PIHRA membership for a vote. The revisions must also be submitted to SHRM for approval.

Thank you for your input.  We hope you will stop by the Legislative Affairs booth at the Annual Conference and provide us with your ideas and suggested revisions. Please also feel free to contact Richard Propster, President (president@pihra.org); Wayne Munyer, President-Elect (presidentelect@pihra.org); Jenny Roney, Immediate Past President (immediatepastpresident@pihra.org ); or Marilyn Monahan, VP of Legislative Affairs (vplegislativeaffairs@pihra.org) if you have any questions about the bylaws revision project, or if you have any comments about the content of the bylaws.

Thank you for your participation.

Regards,

Marilyn Monahan
VP of Legislative Affairs
